The Lot is a beautiful department in the south of France and a perfect holiday destination for those who seek the balance between sport, relaxation, culture and nature. During our daily rides we’ll take coffee breaks in medieval villages, pass by wineyards, cross green hills and a french meals to complete our days. This is the ideal trip for active biking and pleasant relaxation in the middle of nature.
The Lot
The Lot is one of the most sparsely populated region in France. The beautiful and varied landscapes offer green valleys, vineyards fields, gentle hills up till 800 meters, steep gorges and rocky high plateaus. In addition the Lot has a vast culture heritage. One of the places we visit Roccamadour, a designated as UNESCO World Heritage sites.
We will ride dirt roads, gravel paths, forest trails and some paved roads.
Our accommodation: Cabre Perdu
We stay in an authentic farmhouse hidden in the midst of silence and nature with an amazing view over the surroundings. Four ruins have been restored by the host and hostess themselves and became insanely beautiful pieces of work!
