Finale Ligure & Finalborgo
Finale Ligure has a legendary reputation as one of the best, if not the best, enduro destinations. Its vibrant mountain biking scene is famous for its well-built trails, of which the locals are very proud. With more than 500 trails, it’s the place for enduro competitions and bike shuttles. You will find a variety of fun trails for every skill level, from challenging rock descents to very flowy forest trails. Bike shops and bars are at your service. This beautiful destination is located directly by the sea, perfect for cooling down after a sporty day!
Landscape
Due to the mild climate and scenic beauty, the Ligurian coast is an worthwhile travel destination. We particularly recommend reserving a trip in spring or autumn, which are the best times to visit the region.
Shuttles
Depending on the camp you book, we use more or less bike shuttles to decrease the ascends.
Italy at its best
Besides riding beautiful trails, you can enjoy fresh pasta, wood-fired pizza and tasty cappuccinos! We will visit a few must-see places like Finalborgo, a beautiful medieval town with great bars. The Ligurian people are very welcoming, and you will have the best time enjoying their hospitality.
MTB Level
Camp 1: Endzro 15-21 September 2024
Our focus is on the best downhill trails, and we use daily bike shuttles to minimize ascents and save our energy for the descents. We will climb a maximum of 800 meters per day. The difficulty of the trails will depend on the participants, ranging from S1 to S3. Please let us know your level when you sign up.
Camp 2: Sportif Edition - 22-28 September 2024 (also for E-bike)
We will ride the most beautiful flow trails and also use our energy to cycle uphill. Some days we will use a bike shuttle in the morning. You will need a basic level of fitness or an E-bike. We will climb about 800-1500 meters per day.
Program
Sunday: Evening meet and greet and gear check.
Monday to Friday: After breakfast, we will bike all day. Most days, we will have lunch in small villages in the mountains.
Saturday: After breakfast, we will say goodbye.
The trails and the amount of shuttles will depend on the weather and mtb level of the participants.
Accommodation
We will stay at a quiet and very nice accommodation just above Finalborgo and Finale Ligure, surrounded by nature and olive groves. Breakfast will be served on the terrace with a great panoramic view over the valley. There are 5 double rooms equipped with a bathroom. Single rooms are available for a surcharge. A discount is possible if you stay at the campsite. The accommodation may differ if it is fully booked.
